# SofiaLocks

> Connect SofiaLocks smart locks to Nexudus, so customers and visitors open doors with their phone based on their passes, bookings and contracts, and door opens check them in.

## Overview

**SofiaLocks** (powered by Jago Cloud) is a mobile-first smart lock system. The integration adds your customers to SofiaLocks and gives them access to the right **lock tags** based on what they have in Nexudus. Each lock tag is a set of doors you define in SofiaLocks. Registered visitors can get access too.

The integration costs **£50 a month per location** (shown in your currency), on top of what SofiaLocks charges.

## How access works

| Customers get access through | When |
| - | - |
| **Passes** | While the pass is active — including passes included in their plan, passes shared by their team, and the pass they're checked in with. |
| **Resource bookings** | From about 15 minutes before the booking starts until it ends. |
| **Desks and offices** | While the desk or office is on one of their active contracts. If a team's paying member holds the contract, the whole team gets access. |
| **Visitor registration** | From 15 minutes before their expected arrival until 15 minutes after they're due to leave, or midnight if no departure is set. Guests on a booking get the booked resource's lock tags; other visitors get your default visitor lock tags. |

## Before you start

Have your SofiaLocks **username** and **password**, and your **Location ID** — it's in your SofiaLocks address, `api-{location_id}.jago.cloud`.

| Setting | What it does |
| - | - |
| **Invite customers by email to use the SofiaLocks App when they are added to SofiaLocks** | SofiaLocks emails new customers an invitation to its app. |
| **No access policy** | What happens to a customer's SofiaLocks user when they lose all access: **Disable SofiaLocks user account** or **Delete SofiaLocks user account**. |

## How customers open doors

Customers open doors with their phone in the [white-label Passport app](/passport/white-label-setup) — it shows only the doors they can open — or in the SofiaLocks app if you invite them. They need to be at the door; SofiaLocks doors can't be opened remotely.

Door opens reach Nexudus every few minutes, so check-ins can take up to 10 minutes to appear.
