# Nexudus Explore

> Build and share custom BI dashboards with Nexudus Explore, a PRO add-on that opens a dedicated analytics workspace connected to your Nexudus data.

## Overview

**Nexudus Explore** is a business-intelligence workspace where you build your own dashboards and charts to track performance across any area of your business. Unlike the fixed [Reports](/platform/analytics/reports) and [Trends](/platform/analytics/trends) views, Explore lets you compose the metrics, dimensions, and layouts you actually care about.

Explore is a **PRO add-on**. It's not enabled by default — you turn it on per location, and it opens in its own dedicated workspace rather than inside the Admin Panel.

## How to access

1. Select **Analytics** in the left-hand menu.
2. Under **Reports**, select **Nexudus Explore**.

Nexudus signs you in securely and opens Explore in a new tab. You don't need separate Explore credentials — your Nexudus session hands you straight in.

## Enabling Explore

Explore is controlled by a switch on the Analytics home page:

1. Select **Analytics** in the left-hand menu.
2. On the **Nexudus Explore** tile, toggle the **PRO** switch on.

Turning the switch on takes you to the integration settings where you confirm Explore is active for the location. Once enabled, the tile launches the Explore workspace.

<Note>
  Explore is a paid PRO feature. Enabling it affects your subscription — check your [Nexudus subscription](/support/pricing/managing-your-subscription) for pricing.
</Note>

## The Explore workspace

Once inside, Explore gives you a canvas for building analyses:

* **Standard dashboard** — a starter layout with the most common performance charts, ready to use or adapt.
* **Chart designer** — build a chart by choosing a metric, the dimensions to break it down by, a date range, and a chart type. Save it to a dashboard.
* **Duplicate a chart** — clone any existing chart as a starting point, then change its filters or visuals without affecting the original.
* **Dashboards** — arrange charts on a dashboard, rename it, and share it with your team.

Because Explore connects directly to your Nexudus data, the figures stay in sync with the rest of the platform — no exporting and reloading spreadsheets.

## Tips

* Start from the **standard dashboard** and duplicate the charts you want to tweak, rather than building every chart from scratch.
* Keep a small set of well-labelled dashboards for recurring reviews (weekly ops, monthly finance) instead of many one-offs.
* Pair Explore with [Trends](/platform/analytics/trends) — Trends gives you ready-made AI predictions for demand and churn, while Explore is where you build bespoke views.
