How to manage article categories

About article categories

You can add categories to your news articles to organise the information that you post. For example, if you write articles in multiple languages, you could create a category for each language (English, Spanish, French and so on).

To add a new category

  1. If the side menu is not visible, click .

  2. In the side menu, click Community.

  3. In the News section, click Categories.

  4. Click Add news category

  5. In the Name textbox, type a name for the category.

  6. If you manage more than one space, select the space to which you want to add the category from the Location drop-down list.

  7. From the Language drop-down list, select the language where your category is available for. If you leave this blank, the category will be available to all readers, regardless of the language they select.

  8. Click Save.

Adding a news category

You can only add a category to an article when either of the following is the case:

  • You select the same language for the category and the article or

  • You leave the Language section blank in the options for both the category and article.
