# Managing your reseller account

> How to create your Nexudus reseller account, connect Stripe, add customers and sub-accounts, invite customers, and receive payouts.

## Overview

Once you've decided to become a Nexudus reseller, this page walks you through setting up your account, adding your customers, and getting paid.

## What you need

* **An admin account in Nexudus.** If you don't have one yet, get in touch with our team at **[sales@nexudus.com](mailto:sales@nexudus.com)** and they'll create an admin account for you.
* **A Stripe account.** All reseller payments are processed exclusively through Stripe. If you don't have one, you can open one at [dashboard.stripe.com/register](https://dashboard.stripe.com/register).

## Creating your reseller account

Creating your reseller partner account is a three-step process.

### Step 1. Enrol as a reseller

Provide some information about you and your organisation:

1. Go to [dashboard.nexudus.com/reseller/new](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/reseller/new).
2. Log in to your Nexudus admin account.
3. Click **Start**.
4. Add your **Reseller name**.
5. Add a short description of the services you provide and click **Next**. This information may be published on our Reseller and Consultants page.
6. Upload a photo of yourself along with your logo and click **Next**.
7. Add your **website URL**, **contact email**, and **phone number**, then click **Next**.
8. Add up to two testimonials and click **Next**.
9. Choose the currency of the payments you'll receive and click **Next**.

  The currency you choose here has to match the currency defined in your **Stripe** account.

You're redirected to your reseller dashboard, where you can add more profile details, add customer accounts, and connect your account to Stripe.

### Step 2. Connect your Stripe account

All reseller payments are processed through Stripe, so you need to connect your account before receiving any payment:

1. Go to [dashboard.nexudus.com/reseller](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/reseller).
2. Log in if you aren't already.
3. Click **Connect to Stripe**.

You're redirected to Stripe, where you connect your Stripe account to Nexudus by following the on-screen instructions. Once complete, you're redirected back to your reseller dashboard with Stripe showing as connected.

### Step 3. Sign your agreement and activate your account

Once you've completed the required steps, get in touch with our team at **[sales@nexudus.com](mailto:sales@nexudus.com)**. They'll help you finalise the [reseller agreement](/resellers/reseller-agreement) signature and activate your account.

  Let us know which reseller tier you'd like to join. Our team needs to know this to activate the correct level of access and commission rate — this is especially important if you're joining **The Legend** tier and providing first-line support to Nexudus customers.

As soon as your account is activated, you can start managing your accounts and receiving payments.

## Adding customers

Once your reseller account is activated, you can create new accounts for your customers. Each account represents a new customer with one or more locations in Nexudus.

1. Go to [dashboard.nexudus.com/resellers/resellerAccounts](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/resellers/resellerAccounts).
2. Click **Add account**.
3. Complete the form with the new account's details.
4. Save your changes.

  All details are required fields.

Once you've created a customer account, you can access it by clicking the **Access** button.

  **Can't click the Access button?** You still need to activate your reseller account. Get in touch with our team at **[sales@nexudus.com](mailto:sales@nexudus.com)** to confirm your reseller status.

### Adding sub-accounts

For operators running more than one location, create sub-accounts after creating their network account:

1. Go to [dashboard.nexudus.com/resellers/resellerAccounts](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/resellers/resellerAccounts).
2. Log in if you aren't already.
3. Click the three-dot icon next to the main account.
4. Click **Add sub-account**.
5. Name the new sub-account.
6. Save your changes.

### Inviting customers

When you create a new account as a reseller, you're initially the only user with access. Based on your reseller tier, you'll prepare the customer's account to different depths. Generally, you invite customers once their basic details and settings are defined, so they can access the location and start getting to grips with the platform:

1. Go to [dashboard.nexudus.com/resellers/resellerAccounts](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/resellers/resellerAccounts).
2. Log in if you aren't already.
3. Click the three-dot icon next to the relevant account.
4. Click **Invite customer**.
5. Add the customer's **Full name** and **Email**.
6. Save your changes.

The customer receives an email prompting them to log in for the first time and set their own password within a few minutes.

  **Tier 1 reseller?** You lose access to this customer's account once they log in.

## Receiving payments

<Warning>
  Reseller payments are processed **exclusively** through **Stripe**. If you haven't connected your Stripe account to Nexudus yet, see [Connecting your Stripe account](#step-2-connect-your-stripe-account).

Nexudus sends you a **payout summary** every month, showing how much commission you've earned over the last month. This payout is **not a payment** — you need to invoice Nexudus for the value of the payout to receive your money.

  Make sure you upload your invoices as **PDF** files.
</Info>

To upload your invoice:

1. Go to [dashboard.nexudus.com/resellers/resellerPayouts](https://dashboard.nexudus.com/resellers/resellerPayouts).
2. Log in if you aren't already.
3. Click **Payouts**.
4. Click the payout you want to invoice.
5. Click **Upload file** and select your invoice in PDF format.
6. Save your changes.

You'll receive your payment within a few days of uploading your invoice.
