# Get one BlogCategory

> Retrieve a single BlogCategory record by its Id.

A **BlogCategory** groups blog posts into named categories within a location. Each category belongs to a single `Business` and has a `Title` used for display and filtering.

Categories can optionally be associated with a `Language` to support multilingual blogs. Use the `BlogPosts`, `AddedBlogPosts`, and `RemovedBlogPosts` collections to manage which blog posts belong to the category.

## Authentication

  This endpoint requires OAuth2 authentication. Include a valid bearer token in the `Authorization` header.
  The authenticated user must be a full unrestricted administrator or have the **`BlogCategory-Read`** role.
