# Adding a payment method

> How to pay your Nexudus subscription by card or direct debit.

## Overview

To pay for your Nexudus subscription, you need to set up a direct debit mandate or add your credit card details.

## How to access

Go to **Settings → Your Nexudus subscription → Payment details** on the Admin Panel.

<Warning>
  You must add a payment method to **all** of your locations, including **network** locations.

  Nexudus won't charge a **network** location as long as:

  * it has fewer than **5 active users**, **and**
  * you haven't enabled any integrations or features that we charge at the network level, such as Explore Pro or the white-label Passport app.
</Warning>

<Error>
  We automatically suspend your account if you don't pay your invoices within **10 days**.
</Error>

## Pay via direct debit

<Info>
  A new direct debit mandate usually takes between **4 and 10 business days** to process completely. Take this initial delay into account when adding your payment method.
</Info>

1. Go to **Settings → Your Nexudus subscription → Payment details**.
2. Select the **Bank** option.
3. Click **Configure bank payments**. You're redirected to GoCardless to set up your direct debit mandate.
4. Fill out the form with your bank details and click **Set up direct debit**.
5. Review your details and click **Confirm**. You're redirected back to the **Payment Details** page in Nexudus.

Once your bank authorises the mandate, it's used to pay your future Nexudus invoices. A confirmation email from GoCardless is also sent to the email address you added to the direct debit setup form.

## Pay via card

1. Go to **Settings → Your Nexudus subscription → Payment details**.
2. Select the **Credit/debit card** option.
3. Fill out the form with your details.
4. Click **Submit payment details**.

Your card details are then used to pay all your future Nexudus invoices.
