Overview

Nexudus apps bring the platform out of the browser and into your space. They split into two families:
  • Tablet apps — run on a dedicated tablet placed at a desk, entrance, or counter. They power self-service interactions: booking resources, checking people in and out, and taking payments.
  • Mobile apps — run on any phone or tablet, for staff on the move.
Together they cover the moments that happen in the room rather than in the Admin Panel.
The customer-facing Passport app (and its white‑label variants) is documented separately in the Passport by Nexudus section.

The apps

NexBoard

Display availability and let customers book meeting rooms, desks, and more from a tablet beside each resource.

NexEvents

Check customers in and out of events using a tablet as your event checkpoint.

NexIO

Let customers and visitors check in and out autonomously at a reception tablet.

NexKiosk

Turn a tablet into a point of sale that accepts card payments and charges customers.

Shared foundations

Several settings apply across the apps rather than to a single one:
  • Device requirements — the minimum specs for the tablets and phones that run each app.
  • App user roles — restrict what an app can do by assigning a dedicated role to the admin who operates it.
  • App languages — the languages available in the apps and how to translate them.

How to access

Apps are configured from the Admin Panel. Each app has its own setup and settings page, linked above. Tablet apps also need the companion app installed on the device itself.
