Overview

The discussion boards module gives your customers a community forum where they can post topics, share files and images, and engage with other members. You can control posting permissions, daily digest emails, and notification preferences. Navigate to Settings → Modules → Discussion boards in the Nexudus dashboard to configure these settings.

Settings

Enable the discussion boards sectionTurns the discussion boards on or off in the portal.
Customers can only post new messages to groups they have access toRestricts posting so customers can only create new topics in discussion groups they belong to, rather than in all groups or the general group.
Sign-up new users to the discussion board daily digestAutomatically subscribes new customers to a daily email summarising recent discussion board activity.
Enable discussion board notifications to membersSends discussion board notifications to customers with an active contract.
Enable discussion board notifications to contactsSends discussion board notifications to registered customers without an active contract.
Digest email subject lineCustomise the subject line of the daily digest email. You can use {businessName} for the location name, {fullNames} for the names of people who posted, {subjects} for the topics discussed, or {groups} for the group names.
