Overview
The events and ticketing module displays your event calendar in the Members Portal and lets customers browse, register for, and purchase tickets to your events. You can also control ticket cancellation policies, billing behaviour, and attendee notifications. Navigate to Settings → Modules → Events in the Nexudus dashboard to configure these settings. Ticket-specific checkout settings are also available at Settings → Sign-up and checkout → Checkout.Settings
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Enable the events and tickets section | Turns the events calendar and ticket purchasing on or off in the portal. |
| Allow customers to cancel event tickets | Lets customers cancel tickets they have already purchased. |
| Automatically cancel unpaid tickets purchased by contacts | Unpaid tickets bought by customers without an active contract are automatically cancelled 15 minutes after purchase. Only available on Nexudus-hosted portals. |
| Invoice event buyer instead of their team paying customer | When a customer in a team with merged billing buys a ticket, the invoice goes to the buyer instead of the team’s paying customer. Has no effect for customers not in teams with merged invoicing. |
| Include an internet access code in each ticket confirmation email | Adds a network access code to the confirmation email sent after a ticket purchase. |
| Send a reminder to event attendees 24 hours before the event starts | Sends an automated reminder email to all attendees the day before the event. |
