Overview
Legal terms and policies are the documents people must read and accept when they use your website or make a purchase. Nexudus keeps them in Settings → Legal terms and policies, in five groups:
Each group has its own editor and its own Version history.
Edit a term or policy
- Go to Settings → Legal terms and policies and open the tab for the document you want to change.
- Edit the text in the Terms and conditions (or Policy) section.
- Save. Saving creates a new version — see Version history.
General terms
These apply to everyone using your website. Changing them asks everyone who may have already accepted them to accept them again the next time they access the portal or the app.Visitor terms
These apply to visitors registered through NexIO. Pre-registered visitors are sent a copy of these terms with a link to agree to them before they arrive at your space.Checkout terms
These are presented before anyone can complete a booking or payment. The Term acceptance settings let you customize how and when users are asked to accept the terms during checkout.Data Privacy policy and Cookies policy
The Data Privacy policy is linked in the footer of every page for users who aren’t signed in. The Cookies policy is linked from the footer and the login page.Version history
Every saved version of each term and policy is kept under its Version history tab, so you can see what changed and when. A log records which version each customer, member or visitor accepted.Version history applies from May 2025. Terms and policies created or accepted before that date don’t show in the version history, but can be traced back using the audit logs.
