Overview
Finance is where customers are billed and payments are recorded. It covers the contracts that bill customers regularly, the invoices they generate, the revenue forecast of upcoming invoices, and the ledger of every invoice and payment. It’s also where you set up payment gateways to take payments, and the tax rates, financial accounts and chart of accounts used on every invoice. Inventory defines what you sell. Finance is where it’s billed and paid for.Sections

How billing works
- A customer signs up to a plan, which creates a contract, or buys products, bookings or passes.
- Nexudus creates an invoice on the contract’s next invoice date, including anything else the customer has bought since their last invoice. Contacts without a contract are invoiced when they buy something in the Members Portal.
- The invoice is paid automatically on its due date through a payment gateway, or you record the payment yourself.
- Every invoice and payment is recorded in the customer’s ledger.
- If you use an accounting integration, such as Xero or QuickBooks Online, invoices can be transferred to your accounting system.
